-
The first visit begins with a deep examination of your teeth. We then take any necessary X-rays to see the extent of the decay or damage.
-
We use a local anesthetic to numb the affected area to ensure your comfort.
-
We make sure the decay or damage is removed from the portion of the tooth to receive the filling using specialized dental instruments.
-
We clean the cavity and disinfect it to eliminate bacteria and debris.
-
We apply the filling in layers. Each layer is cured (hardened) with a special light before adding the next layer.
-
After the cavity is filled, shaping begins to match the contours of your natural tooth. Finally, the filling will be polished so your tooth has a smooth finish.
